Susan M. Mooney has been practicing law for thirty-four (34) years, concentrating her practice in estate planning, probate matters and elder law, after many years of experience in civil litigation. Susan takes great pride in providing personal legal representation to each client with estate and long term care planning designed to meet the unique circumstances of each and every client. Susan understands the difficult emotional and financial decisions that clients face in their planning and takes time to develop a plan that addresses their individual needs. Susan’s first priority is always the client’s best interest. Having had the personal experience of parents who lived to be ninety-eight (98) and one hundred one (101) years old, Susan has a unique ability to work with the elderly to establish a trusting, compassionate relationship and has the legal skills necessary to protect their interests. She also enjoys multigenerational planning with families of all ages.
Susan lives in Gloucester with her husband Tom. They have three (3) adult children and eight (8) grandchildren. In her leisure time Susan enjoys spending time with family, attending grandchildren’s sporting events and activities, beach walks, entertaining and travel.
Cindy has been with the Law Offices of Susan M. Mooney, P.C. for twenty-seven (27) years. Cindy is our estate planning paralegal and office manager.
She works with drafting and preparing Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Proxies and other essential planning documents. She maintains personal contact with the estate plan clients during the design and implementation phase of their planning, focusing on the unique needs and circumstances of each individual client.
In addition, Cindy manages all administrative matters and operations for the firm; including billing, computer tech support, developing systems, client database management, and human resources. Cindy has great organizational skills and attention to detail and keeps our office running efficiently.
Cindy lives in Burlington with her spouse and enjoys going to the beach, concerts, kayaking, bicycling, and traveling and is an avid Boston sports’ fan.
